Does it ever bother you,
That your tears suddenly turn to blood
When they fall on my shirt?
Beyond all the lost smiles, it lies hidden
Grief, covered in dust
Smothered with the lies you thrust upon me
Now we realize what's been done, far too late.
I'm sorry, there's no stopping it now
I'm doomed to die. That's just the way it has to be.
But you;ll be fine, just turn your head
the other way, like you usually do.
Does it ever bother you,
That I cringe at your very touch
When you lean over to hug me?
The truth has been long lost
In the abyss of fabricated words
and fake people
Drowned, defiled beyond repair.
Now we realize what's been done, far too late.
